Renovated library now opened

Students work and study on the second floor of the renovated Beloit College library.

Hello Beloiters! Welcome back from break. We have some great news.

LITS and Career Works have worked hard to get the library ready for your return. While there’s still a little work to do, the first floor is now fully open for business. The Impact Beloit Hub — including Career Works, Community Connections, and Alumni Partnerships — is open, and drop-in technology support services will also be available. Check out the space and find your new favorite study spot.

The building’s hours are:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - Midnight
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.

PBS documentary on Beloit airs tonight

The PBS Wisconsin Hometown Stories series on the history of the City of Beloit, which includes quite a bit on Beloit College, airs at 8 p.m. tonight. Watch the televised version live on our local PBS station, or check out PBS Wisconsin’s website afterward to find the whole video — and special extras — online. You’ll be sure to learn something new about your college home and the pride its residents have in its progress.
